Correct: Color Contrast Should Meet Minimum Level (AA)

The colors between the page's content and background should contrast enough so everyone can consume it.

How much contrast is enough?

The W3C's accessibility guidelines outline several different levels of contrast and the levels correspond to "contrast ratios". If you meet the Level AA standard, the contrast ratio is 4.5:1, which "compensates for the loss in contrast sensitivity usually experienced by users with vision loss equivalent to approximately 20/40 vision. (20/40 calculates to approximately 4.5:1.) 20/40 is commonly reported as typical visual acuity of elders at roughly age 80." The Level AAA standard's contrast ratio is 7:1 and "compensates for the loss in contrast sensitivity usually experienced by users with vision loss equivalent to approximately 20/80 vision."
